Ned Goodwin, friend and Wine Director of Global Dining, one of Japan's best known and top restaurant groups, has passed his MW exam. We wish to congratulate him on his outstanding achievement!

Isetan Shinjuku Wine Fair, 4/21-4/26

Georges Puig of Domaine Puig-Parahy and Claude Jourdan of Felines-Jourdan are visiting Tokyo, this week - Icelandic ash permitting.  With them, we're presenting a dozen wines from various Domaines at the Isetan Wine Fair.  Come and taste for free!

Charvin Chateauneuf 2007, Gangloff Cote Rotie La Barbarine 2007 and La Sereine Noire 2007 as well as Condrieu 2008 have just arrived. From next Monday February 22 we have some limited availability of these fabulous and highly acclaimed wines.

Clos Perdus was most recently selected by Neal Martin, one of the wine writers on the net I particularly enjoy, to go with his album of the month, St Vincent.
An Englishman, he's now somewhat incongruously only available on Robert Parker's website. It's his music reviews that are particularly lyrical (sorry for pun).
